Water Conservation

Save Water, Save Earth

Water is essential for life. Approximately 71%  of the Earth’s surface is covered by water out of which only 0.5% of the water is available for drinking purposes. When it comes to water conservation, the issue is not just about “saving water” but having enough water to meet our present and future needs is also a big thing to consider. That’s why our organization has taken various steps, strategies, technologies, and initiatives to address the challenge of water scarcity in India. The organization’s primary focus is to promote various types of sustainable water conservation practices such as rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, and greywater systems.

Some of the water conservation efforts made by saveourgoldenearth.com are as follows:-

Raising Awareness through campaigns: We are using comprehensive public awareness campaigns and educational programs to educate the public about the importance of water conservation.

Water Audits: We are conducting a water resources assessment (WRA) in residential, commercial, and industrial areas to identify locations where water can be saved.

Use of Water-Saving Technologies:  We are promoting the use of water-saving devices such as low-flow toilets, aerated faucets, and water-efficient appliances.

Water Recycling: We are actively promoting the recycling of gray water for non-potable use, such as landscape irrigation, toilet flushing, fire protection, vehicle washing, and sanitation purposes.

Rainwater Harvesting: We are promoting the collection and storage of rainwater which runs off from rooftops, parks, roads, and open grounds.
